Good for TeenagersBetween the ages of 16 – 18 bones stop growing in length, but, they continue to grow in strength into our mid 20’s. So, the ideal time to build up our bone bank is while we are growing. Bones need calcium and the body needs energy. Aim to eat a variety of foods, and don’t skip breakfast! Breakfast gives you an energy boost for the day. Cereal and milk are a great way to start the day for health and energy. The easiest way to get calcium is from milk and dairy products, including cheese and yogurt. (Even low fat dairy products contain as much calcium, if not more, as full fat varieties.)
